Dr. Seuss Week

 In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday being on March 2nd, we have dedicated this whole week of fun to this amazing author where we are reading a lot of his books and doing some fun things to go along with them. My kinder friends are ALL becoming rhyming experts now if they weren't before the week began. This has been such a fun week! Their favorite day so far has today. It was"Wacky Wednesday" where they got to come to school dressed a little "wacky." I was dressed so wacky today that they thought I was a substitute when they came in. It was so funny! Oh, what a fun week! Thank you, Dr. Seuss for writing such fun stories for all of us to enjoy! Here are some pictures from our fun week so far:

March Already? Wow! Time Flies when you are having fun in kindergarten!

Wow! How is today March 1st? The days are flying by and I feel like this last stretch of kindergarten is going to go by SUPER FAST! With today being the first day of March, we made our March calendars. Both classes LOVED making the calendar today with it being a big pot of gold with a rainbow. I was SO proud of how well my kinders did filling in the missing numbers all by themselves and following my step-by-step directions in making their calendars from start to finish. They turned out great! Way to go, K-1 and K-3!
